As a Treasury Analyst in shared services, you will be responsible for managing various financial aspects related to the treasury function across multiple departments or business units within the organization

Description


Cash Management: Monitoring the organization's cash flow, ensuring that there is enough liquidity to meet short-term obligations while optimizing cash balances to maximize returns on investments. Banking Relationships: Maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions, negotiating terms for services such as lines of credit, bank accounts, and other treasury-related products. Cash Forecasting: Developing cash forecasting models to predict future cash flows, enabling the organization to plan its liquidity needs effectively and make informed investment decisions. Risk Management: Identifying and assessing financial risks such as interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk, and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks through hedging or other financial instruments. Financial Reporting: Preparing regular reports on treasury activities, including cash positions, investment portfolios, and debt levels, to provide insights to senior management and support decision-making processes. Compliance and Regulations: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies governing treasury operations, and staying updated on changes in regulations that may affect the organization's treasury activities. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluating and improving treasury processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize risks. Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments such as finance, accounting, and risk management to coordinate treasury activities and support broader financial goals and objectives.

Profile

  • Education : Degree in relevant field (Commerce, Finance, Accounting)
  • Experience : Minimum 2-5 years of working experience
  • Industry or shared services experience is an added advantage
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel, is a must
  • Experience in using SAP system
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese is a plus.
