We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Bangkok, Thailand. This position is open to candidates with a strong accounting background, especially those with experience from Big 4 audit firms.

Job Summary: As a Senior Accountant, you will be a crucial part of our finance team, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial reporting for our operations in Thailand. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing accounting processes, and contributing to the continuous improvement of financial systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting:
  2. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with local and international accounting standards.
  3. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and reporting requirements.
  4. General Ledger Management:
  5. Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and sub-ledgers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  6. Conduct regular reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  7. Audit Collaboration:
  8. Coordinate with external auditors, providing necessary documentation and support during the annual audit process.
  9. Implement audit recommendations and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
  10. Tax Compliance:
  11. Collaborate with tax consultants to ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations.
  12. Prepare and file tax returns, supporting the company's tax planning initiatives.
  13. Cost Accounting:
  14. Manage cost accounting processes to accurately allocate and track expenses related to manufacturing operations.
  15. Analyze cost variances and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  16. Process Improvement:
  17. Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within the finance function.
  18. Collaborate with teams to implement best practices and streamline financial processes. Qualifications:
  19. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  20. CPA qualification is highly desirable.
  21. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a preference for candidates with Big 4 audit firm background.
  22. Strong understanding of both Thai and international accounting standards. Skills:
  23. Proficient in MS Excel and ERP systems.
  24. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  25. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  26. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
