Senior Spring Boot Developer

Required skills: Spring Boot, Oracle DB

Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for timely documentation of technical design and specifications in accordance with the business specifications and Allianz project standards.
  2. Ensure timely completion of business application coding with project schedule.
  3. Compliance of frontline development functions to System Development Guideline and Standards.
  4. Quality of frontline systems developed and implemented in fulfilling system specifications and user requirements.
  5. Constant communication with team members, users, and vendors.
  6. Keeping up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment.
Qualifications:
  1. Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  2. At least 5 years of working experience in the related field and ability to guide and review the codes of junior developers for the Senior position.
  3. Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills as well as detail-oriented.
  4. Good verbal and written English communication skills.
  5. Ability to multi-task, prioritize managing workloads, and meet deadlines.
  6. Familiar with and/or have experience with Agile development under the SCRUM methodology.
  7. Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  8. Experience in leading a team with Angular developers is an added advantage.
  9. Experience in the Insurance Industry is an added advantage.
Technical Skillset:
  1. Good experience in Oracle Database 11g or above for PLSQL (mandatory).
  2. Experience in designing security between application integrations (not using 3rd party software).
  3. Experience in JBOSS server and Tomcat server environment, including troubleshooting the servers.
  4. Good knowledge in JSON, RESTful API, and Web Services.
  5. Experience in Maven, CLI Build scripts is an added advantage.
  6. Experience in DevOps tools like Jira and Jenkins is an added advantage.
