Job Description- Perform basic laboratory tests in accordance with approved test methods or procedures.
- Assist Chemists in carrying out laboratory testing, method development, and compliance with QA/QC requirements.
- Ensure Good Housekeeping and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) in the laboratory.
- Ensure that sample preparation equipment is used and maintained properly.
- Adhere to group HSE safety procedures.
- Ensure all relevant raw data or test information is correctly and accurately recorded in the provided raw data sheet or manual log book.
- Comply with all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) local regulations (Occupational Safety and Health Act 1996, Factory and Machinery Act 1967, Environmental Quality Act 1974).
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
- Report any hazards/risk, near-misses, and incidents in the Crystal system.
- Ensure that all Operational Integrity Management System (OIMS) requirements are met.
- Minimum education: SPM, STPM, or College Diploma.
- Fresh graduates in Chemistry-related studies are open to consideration, with opportunities to be further groomed as Chemists.
- 1-3 years of laboratory experience in related activities is an added advantage.
- Good personality and a strong team leader.
- Good communication and written skills in English and/or local language.
- Permanent position or 12-month contract (renewable/conversion to permanent based on performance).
