Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

Strategic and analytical

1. Analyzing Ex-post and Ex-ante financials, Capital Structure and FX exposures of Company, understanding requirements, plan ahead, communicate and report to stakeholders.
2. Communicating confidently to stakeholders on Treasury matters, follow-ups and closure.
3. Hands-on corporate exercises and working closely with various other teams (e.g. accounting, legal and tax, stakeholders to materialize the plan) (E.g. dividends declaration and payments, cross-boarder capital borrowing and lending, regulatory assessments and fulfillments, capital injections, cash repatriation, etc.)
4. Deep dive into derivative and FX transactions to understand exposure root cause and improvements.

Operational and functional:

1. Performs daily cash positioning activities by required cut-off time. Escalate exceptions to system team and resolve issues timely.
2. Initiate Money Market processes as required, follow through till completion and closure of event.
3. Plan, co-ordinate, forecast and report cashflow results through close liaison with relevant stakeholders.
4. Execute FX risk management strategies in accordance with policy and SLA.
5. Monitoring and managing Assets Under Management ("AUM") efficiently balancing against risk exposure, carrying cost and returns.
6. Ensure compliance to Treasury policies, procedures and processes.
7. Attends and confidently drives treasury related discussions with stakeholders.
8. Forecast working capital and capital structure of the business and able to present the findings professionally.
9. Any other projects and task assigned by supervisor.

Area of treasury operations includes:

1. FX hedging activities.
2. Loan/Borrowing activities.
3. Liquidity Management.
4. Cashflow forecasting and reporting.
5. Bank administrations.
6. Other assigned tasks.

Essential requirements

1. Good command of English and ability to articulate thoughts clearly, written and verbal.
2. Understanding of accounting concepts and able to comprehend financial statements.
3. Experienced user of bank portals and understands the flow.
4. Inquisitive and reciprocate to other functions.
5. Good understanding of information system, workflows and technologies in workplace.
6. Important behavioral traits which must have includes accountable, responsible, transparent, and reliable.

Qualifications/Education/Experience Required:

1. Have a strong functional knowledge of treasury. The incumbent must be confident in making decisions within authority limit.
2. Good business acumen and understands cross-function interdependencies.
3. Have a Bachelor degree in accountancy/finance or a related field, with at least 7 years of experience in treasury.
4. Experience with a Treasury Management System, particularly Quantum, and knowledge of SAP, Anaplan and Fireapps is a plus, but not mandatory.
5. Experience in handling Global stakeholders.
6. Experience working with international financial institutions, and a thorough knowledge of commercial banking practices.
