In line with the expansion of the business roles and activities, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks and supporting administrative functions to ensure smooth operations within the company.
Qualifications & experience
- Degree or professional qualification in Accounting/Business Administration/Management or other related discipline.
- 3-5 years of related working experiences, with good knowledge of book-keeping, general financial accounting and cost accounting. Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Computer literate, especially in application of MySQL accounting software and MS Excel analytical tools.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks;
- Responsible for recording and maintaining a business' financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments;
- Responsible for monthly account reporting, budgeting and variance analysis;
- Responsible for the maintenance of stock/inventory list of the accounting system;
- Responsible for maintaining staff leaves records and office administrative matters;
- Manage office supplies and administrative tasks to ensure an efficient office environment;
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth communication and support for financial operations;
