Investment and Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Clients engage RGP for expertise in delivering large and complex projects to strengthen their business. We have an interim Investment and Regulatory Compliance Specialist opportunity within the Insurance sector where you will assist in the Investment & Regulatory Compliance to ensure adherence to mandates.

KEY DELIVERABLES

  • Apply your expertise in Investment & Regulatory Compliance to ensure adherence to mandates.
  • Lead rule coding and testing, translating complex compliance rules into plain English for broader understanding.
  • Implement, manage, and transition compliance rules across platforms such as Bloomberg and Aladdin.
  • Utilize SQL to write queries and analyze data effectively (preferred).
  • Drive project success with prior experience in Project Management or as a Business Analyst (BA).
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with vendors to achieve compliance goals.
  • Ensure robust pre-trade and post-trade compliance monitoring, rule setup reconciliation, and report generation.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and evolving priorities.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proficiency in Compliance Rule Coding and working knowledge of Aladdin.
  • Familiarity with data and automation tools like PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerBI, and SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Python, or VBA.
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management capabilities.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Past experience of investment and regulatory compliance, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented professional who can excel under pressure.
  • A collaborator with excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with multiple teams.
  • An analytical thinker with a proven ability to manage complex compliance systems and processes.
