A leading oil refinery in Malaysia seeks an excellent and top-tier leader to lead the Commercial Management division.

Your new role

As a Commercial Manager your responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Lead and manage commercial negotiations with clients, suppliers, and partners to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies based on market analysis, competitor pricing, and company objectives to maximise profitability.
  • Analyse market trends and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams, to ensure alignment with commercial goals.
  • Conduct sales forecasting and monitor performance against targets, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Serve as a strong strategic leader, guiding the commercial team in executing initiatives that align with the company's vision and drive overall business success.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • At least 10 to 15 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas field
  • Firm and strong leadership management skills
  • Preferred background in commercial management, sales and or business development
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
