Position Summary:

The Senior Account and Audit Executive will be a key member of the finance team, responsible for managing the accounting and audit submission processes for the group of companies. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive audit experience and a strong understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the full audit process for the group of companies, from planning to completion.
  2. Oversee the preparation and submission of accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and relevant legislation.
  4. Coordinate with external auditors and address any queries or issues arising during the audit process.
  5. Implement and maintain effective internal controls over financial reporting.
  6. Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  7. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
  8. Provide support to the finance team on various accounting matters.
  9. Assist with monthly reconciliation of financial statements.
  10. Record expense claims and petty cash transactions.
  11. Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
  12. Undertake other accounting-related tasks as required.

Core Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in auditing, with a focus on group company accounts.
  3. Proven experience managing audit submissions and liaising with external auditors.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (including financial formulas and spreadsheets).
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. A strong sense of responsibility and a positive working attitude.
