The Role and Impact
Join Intel's Human Resources IT team as a Software Application Development Engineer and play a key role in shaping the future of enterprise-level applications. We partner closely with HR subject-matter experts, software vendors, and other internal IT organizations to develop and support the technologies that enable Intel to provide payroll and benefits to their global workforce. Your contributions will be pivotal in evolving our applications landscape, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that drive Intel's mission forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-level applications and integrations using modern software development methodologies.
  • Follow agile methodologies and adhere to technology standards, quality assurance, security, and documentation practices.
  • Collaborate with HR business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and analyze requirements, provide technical guidance, estimations, and deliver scalable solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide resolutions or recommendations.
  • Participate in teams on-call support rotation.
  • Data management, transformation, and integration.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on building enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Node.js and experience with frameworks like .NET Core, Angular, and React.
  • Experience building scalable, enterprise web applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated expertise in Agile Methodology and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native applications and containerization technologies.
  • Experience with design patterns and information security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a disciplined approach to execution.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and innovation.

Inside this Business Group

Intel's Information Technology Group (IT) designs, deploys and supports the information technology architecture and hardware/software applications for Intel. This includes the LAN, WAN, telephony, data centers, client PCs, backup and restore, and enterprise applications. IT is also responsible for e-Commerce development, data hosting and delivery of Web content and services.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
