Role summary:

Support the Technical department in relation to the Product servicing and coordinating with Business & Clinical Dept in new product installation.

Accountabilities:

  1. Responsible for maintaining and providing technical service to renal units/dialysis related equipment.
  2. Provide technical support to the clinical resources nurses in trials and installations.
  3. Assist customer service with technical clarification of customer orders.
  4. Maintain all equipment to minimize downtime and ensure all services are carried out on time.
  5. Manage spare part stocks in hand, returned stock, and faulty stock.
  6. Educate staff in the hospitals/dialysis center on the operation of Fresenius machines.
  7. Maintain proper documentation, i.e., Service Reports.
  8. Record and update technical database on breakdowns attended.
  9. Conduct periodical preventive maintenance.
  10. Conduct user and technical training.
  11. Any other ad-hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical) or equivalent.
  2. At least 1 or 2 years of working experience in servicing Fresenius Machine & equipment.
  3. Display a professional image to customers at all times; maintain the company image to a consistently high standard.
  4. Carry out all duties and responsibilities in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
  5. Willing to work long and odd hours.
  6. Possess own transport and be prepared to travel outstation at short notice as and when required.
  7. Possess good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
