Overview

PDF Solutions is seeking a Principal Applications Engineer to support Exensio Test Operation deployments at different customers worldwide. Customers include a combination of IDM's, Fabless, and OSAT. Activities include deployment of Test Operations infrastructure (Servers, cell controllers, data collection, installation activities). Second-level support for existing customers and Exensio integration into customer environments. Besides technical activities, an important part is also managing the project and interfacing with the customer to maintain clear direction and focus.

Experience Required:
10+ Years in Semiconductor Yield, Product, Test, Packaging, or Assembly Engineering.

Education:

  • BS in Electronics Engineering, Physics, Microelectronics, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering. MS Preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of Exensio Test Operations application at customer locations including deployment, configuration, and administration.
  • Debug/troubleshoot deployment issues, data problems, and provide solutions to complex issues.
  • Integration of Exensio software with customer's business and manufacturing systems such as Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Coordinate and implement data enrichment environments at customer locations per PDF BKMs to maintain data quality standards.
  • Customer technical requirement intake and assisting Product Management with field requirements.
  • Training and documentation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Semiconductor test or operations experience.
  • Enterprise/Engineering software installation & configuration experience.
  • Strong background in engineering statistics.
  • Semiconductor test program development.
  • Windows & Linux power user.
  • Scripting: PowerShell, Batch, Shell (min 2).
  • Programming: C, C++, C# VBA, Java, SQL (min 2).
  • Strong project planning skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and comprehend the customer's needs.
  • Highly professional, self-motivated, and self-managed individual.
  • Familiarity with Yield Management Systems (dataPOWER, Exensio, Klarity-ACE, etc.), Monitoring and Control solutions for Assembly & Test (Exensio Test Operations, Optimal+, etc.).
  • Travel required.

Qualifications:

  • Data analysis experience.
  • Algorithm development and/or statistical/numerical methods experience.
  • Test or product engineering experience.
  • Manufacturing operations experience.
  • System or network administration experience.
  • Factory automation experience.
  • Test Platforms: TER IG-XL, ADV Smartest (min 1).
  • Related enterprise test software solutions experience.

Pay Range:
MYR RM250,000.00 - MYR RM350,000.00 /Yr.
