- Candidate must possess a recognised degree in accounting or equivalent.
- Candidates who are currently pursuing or have obtained a recognised professional accounting qualifications are also encouraged to apply.
- Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Prior training/knowledge or experience in using AXP Audit software and MS Office applications is an added advantage.
- Be a strong team player with good interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
- Job responsibilities include:
- Establish working knowledge of the client's accounting procedures and processes.
- Carry out the audit engagement in accordance with the approved audit plan.
- Perform substantive tests and tests of controls to identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues.
- Identify any accounting or audit issues and perform the necessary research to resolve such issues.
- Prepare appropriate audit documentation to support the work performed.
- Work as an effective team member to complete project components and assigned tasks.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures and management letter comments.
