Work closely with consultants (to support inpatient care), Nursing and Allied Health professionals to provide medical services to patients with due care and display the degree of skill expected of a medical professional.

With verbal or signed written instructions from primary consultants, attend to specific treatments for these patients in ICU / HDU and wards; and communicate with consultants on cares required.

With verbal or signed instructions from primary consultants, attend to ward patients to perform procedures including inserting/removing Continuous Bladder Drainage (CBD), inserting/removing Intravenous Cannula/line, taking blood and carrying out Arterial Blood Gas (ABG), Arterial line/Central line.

Be at the patients' bedside for verification of blood before transfusion.

Attend and review patients just admitted from ED on behalf of primary consultants upon request by the primary consultant via phone call.

Respond to Code Blue Alert promptly.

Contribute to hospital health education and community outreach activities.

Undertake such duties and exercise such power in relation to the Company and the business as assigned by your superior, whether inside or outside Malaysia.

In the discharge of such duties and in the exercise of such powers, observe and comply with all resolutions and directions from time to time given by your superiors.

Devote substantially the whole of your time and attention during official working hours to the discharge of your duties hereunder.

In pursuance of your duties hereunder, perform such services for any existing or future subsidiary and associated companies of the Company as your superiors may reasonably require.

Discharge your duties diligently without compromising the interest of the Company.

Use your best endeavors to promote the interest of the Company.

Perform any other duties as assigned by superiors.

REQUIREMENTS

Substantial hands-on experience (minimum 5 years) in emergency department unit in an established private Medical Centre or major public hospital.

Clean record of professional practices against any legal claim.

Registered with MMC and possess a valid Annual Practicing License, BLS & ACLS Certificate.

Customer oriented.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Matured with a pleasant personality.
