We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Associate. Reporting to the Director, this full-time and permanent position is based in Johor and offers regional coverage, allowing you to make a significant impact on our corporate services and its growth.

Key responsibilities:

  1. To attend meetings accompanied by Seniors, whenever required to do so even on the rest day and public holidays and/or out of town.
  2. Responsible for the timely preparation of AGM Reminders / Documents, Annual Returns, Drafting of Statutory Forms and Documents e.g. Directors'/Members' Resolutions.
  3. Maintaining the statutory books i.e. Minutes Books, Registers and other statutory records.
  4. To prepare and draft announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, arranging and attending Board & Committee meetings, including preparation of notices, meeting papers and drafting of Minutes.
  5. To ensure strict adherence to internal policies / SOPs by team members.
  6. To ensure timely billing (including the capture of all OPEs incurred) and collections.
  7. To ensure best practice of corporate governance and compliance with statutory/regulatory requirements.
  8. To ensure that all clients' documents/records are properly filed in the statutory records at all times and to perform proper housekeeping of clients' records.
  9. Ensure that all jobs/assignments are billed including OPEs are captured in a timely manner.
  10. To ensure acknowledgment of receipt of client's requests/queries/correspondences within 24 hours and answer not later than 2 working days.
  11. Any other tasks as and when assigned by Management.
Key requirements:

  1. Must have at least 2-4 years relevant working experience.
  2. Full ICSA qualification / graduate or possess a bachelor's degree in Corporate Administration.
  3. Basic knowledge of Companies Acts, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, CS Guidelines and other related laws and regulations.
  4. Must possess good communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Good command of both spoken and written English.
  6. Familiar with filing of statutory forms and Companies Acts.
  7. Able to work independently as well as a good team player.
  8. Good interpersonal skills and able to work as a team.
  9. Good sense of urgency and able to work under pressure.
  10. Able to identify and demonstrate clear comprehension of customers and organizational needs.
  11. Demonstrates leadership quality.
  12. Punctuality.
  13. Confident in client-facing ability.
