Job Purpose

To deliver good manners and keen to learn new things in order to achieve self-performance for future career enhancement.

The Role:

  1. To ensure that issuance of policy adjustment, new business, member movement, renewals, policy contract and endorsement are effectively completed within turnaround time (TAT).
  2. Responsible for premiums computation and experience refunds processing.
  3. Ensure tax invoice/ endorsement/ schedule of benefits/ E-medical cards are issued timely.
  4. Ensure the accuracy of records entries & proper e-documentation.
  5. Liaise with direct clients/agents on employees benefits related queries via all channels.
  6. Maintenance of Department records and endorsements.
  7. Administration of data to provide reports required to track Department progress.
  8. Provide administration support and perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Team Lead.
  9. Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
  10. Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  11. Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
  12. Other responsibilities as assigned.

The Person:

  1. Degree from a recognised institution.
  2. Preferred at least 1-year relevant experience specialising in insurance administration/business processing (experience in processing group insurance policies will be an advantage).
  3. Good time management, analytical skills, detail-oriented, and proactive.
  4. Task and results-oriented, and a good team player.
  5. Mathematically inclined with good communication skills.
  6. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel as the job requires significant data sorting and manipulation.
  7. Proficient in other Microsoft Office applications.
  8. High level of integrity, takes accountability for work, and has a good attitude towards teamwork.
  9. Takes initiative to improve the current state of things and adapts to embrace new changes.
