Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) with hands-on experience in Oracle and/or Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our organization's databases to ensure maximum performance, availability, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
  2. Perform regular database maintenance activities including backups, restores, and tuning.
  3. Monitor database performance, implement changes, and apply new patches and versions when required.
  4. Manage database security and user access.
  5. Design and maintain database structures, tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
  6. Implement and maintain disaster recovery strategies.
  7. Work closely with developers and system administrators to troubleshoot and resolve database issues.
  8. Ensure data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  9. Document processes, standards, and best practices.
  10. Support production and development environments.
