  • Monitor customer accounts and outstanding balances.
  • Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and outstanding payments.
  • Contact customers by phone to arrange payment.
  • Issue statements of accounts, payment reminders, and collection notices.
  • Allocate and reconcile customer payments accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, billing issues, and account queries.
  • Review customer credit limits and payment history in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.
  • Work closely with the Sales, Service, and Accounts Receivable teams to resolve collection issues.
  • Escalate seriously overdue or high-risk accounts to management.
  • Negotiate suitable payment arrangements with customers where appropriate.
  • Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances, overdue accounts, collection status, and aging analysis.
  • Assist with month-end closing and accounts receivable reconciliation.
  • Ensure credit control activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional relationships with customers while pursuing timely payment.
