Job Summary:
CTOS Data Systems is seeking a Data Analyst/Manager to join our team in KL, Malaysia. This individual will be responsible for utilizing credit bureau and other relevant data to create proposition solutions for banks and non-banks on retail and SME loan portfolios. The role requires strong data handling capabilities, as well as advanced knowledge of SAS, Python, and R. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a background in banking and credit risk management.

What you are expected to do:

  1. Utilize credit bureau data and other relevant data sources to create proposition solutions for banks and non-banks on retail and SME loan portfolios.
  2. Handle and manipulate large data sets using SAS, Python, and R.
  3. Support the development and implementation of advanced analytics models for risk management and credit scoring using SAS or similar tools.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven actionable insights and recommendations.
  5. Continuously monitor and improve data quality to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  6. Use statistical and data visualization techniques to present data in a clear and compelling way.
  7. Stay up to date with the latest developments in the banking and credit risk management industry.

What qualifies you for the role:

  1. The candidate should have experience in handling and manipulating large data sets.
  2. Candidate is expected to have a background in banking and credit risk, specifically in retail and SME banking.
  3. The role requires a good understanding of statistical and data visualization techniques, with the ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  4. Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, etc.).
  5. Minimum of 4 years of experience in analytics, with a focus on credit risk management and/or banking.
  6. Knowledge of data and modelling tools such as SAS, Python, and R.
  7. Strong experience working with large data sets and databases, advanced data handling skills, and proficiency in data manipulation.
