Application Developer Specialist I

You will analyze detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for PPG's eCommerce Digital platform. You will provide on call support and do application developments as a scrum team member and fulfill the functional requirements. You will be based in Subang Jaya and report directly to the Manager of Information Technology, GCSS Commercial.

Key Responsibilities

• Support application testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution activities by correcting programming errors, responding to scope changes, and coding application enhancements.
• Adoption of tools identified (Azure DevOps, Re-Sharper, BrowserStack, SonarQube, Checkmarx).
• Provide technical advice, code reviews and assistance to other programmers.
• Work together with other technical teams (Solution Architecture, DevOps, Security) throughout the development process.
• Experience with functional integration points, entity relationships, and module flows.
• Create sample input data to test the accuracy of the program.
• Resolve questions of program intent, input data acquisition, time sharing, output requirements, coding use and modification, and inclusion of internal checks/code reviews for system integrity.
• Observe or run tests of the program using sample or actual data, support user acceptance training.
• Participate in the rollout delivery of developed applications.
• Maintain a working knowledge of advancing technologies. Identify applicable solutions and implement with existing networks.
• Learn new programming technologies and methodologies aligned with the defined standards and baselines.
• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems or related fields.
• 7+ years of experience in C#/.NET development.
• Advanced skills in C#, ASP.net, .Net Core, Entity Framework, TypeScript, Angular 9+, RxJS, SASS, Git, SOLID, Design patterns, Architectural patterns.
• Experience with GraphQL, Hot Chocolate, Mass Transit, Commerce Tools, Algolia, Apollo Angular, Angular Material, OAuth 2.
• Experience in Cloud platforms, especially Azure.
• Familiar with DevOps process, Azure DevOps, Terraform, PowerShell, MACH Composer.
• Experience communicating updates and resolutions to customers and other partners in one-on-one and small group situations to Product Owners and other members of the organization.
