Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Turbo Machinery / Rotating Equipment Specialist located in Johor, Malaysia. The specialist will be responsible to carry out field service activities and hands-on work on Pumps, Compressors, Steam Turbines, Gearboxes, Fans and Blowers, Mixers and Agitators, Turbo-expanders and other rotating machinery of various manufacturers in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Oleo-chemical, Power Generation, Food and Pharmaceutical and Mining with and without the presence of OEM FSE.
Qualifications
- Mechanical Engineering background with expertise in turbo machinery and rotating equipment
- Knowledge of high-speed rotating equipment such as turbo compressors, pumps, and steam turbines
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of rotating equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Relevant certifications in turbo machinery or rotating equipment maintenance is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred but not mandatory
