Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the main point of contact between the company and customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  2. Establish strategic relationships with customers, leveraging their business goals and profit drivers to propose appropriate sales solutions.
  3. Provide leadership and guidance in critical customer planning and engagement activities.
  4. Analyze customer data to identify opportunities for growth and align them with our marketing programs.
  5. Engage customers in joint planning sessions to develop comprehensive strategies that drive our market position and financial goals.
  6. Conduct regular business reviews with assigned accounts to track progress towards revenue and growth objectives.
  7. Monitor pipeline and metrics for assigned customers, analyzing performance and identifying improvement opportunities.
  8. Support supplier strategies by aligning solutions with customer needs to maximize profitable growth and customer expansion.
  9. Prioritize customers and opportunities based on their potential for success.
  10. Manage profitability by optimizing gross profit and minimizing profit leaks.
  11. Collaborate with internal teams and support functions to deliver effective sales strategies.
  12. Work independently or partner with other sales professionals, engaging with clients as needed.
  13. Handle small to moderately-sized accounts/opportunities with limited complexity.
  14. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the field.
  2. Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in Technical Sales Engineer or similar role.
  3. Strong understanding of business dynamics, sales processes, and the industry environment.
  4. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  5. Ability to follow existing procedures and established sales processes to drive results.
  6. Collaborative approach, working effectively within a team or independently.
  7. Demonstrate resourcefulness and effective time management skills.
  8. Able to work within an assigned territory or account base, following established sales processes to sell standard products/services.
