We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead key engineering functions across PCBA, Final Assembly, Test, and Packaging (FATP). This role will be responsible for managing cross-functional engineering teams, optimizing production processes, and driving improvements in product cost, quality, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coordinate, and direct engineering projects, developing detailed plans and overseeing technical execution across FATP and its processes.
  • Lead and supervise a team of engineers across Manufacturing, Test, Automation, and Industrial Engineering disciplines, ensuring effective problem-solving and project delivery.
  • Establish and enforce engineering policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of technical work.
  • Collaborate with management, production, IT, and other relevant departments to align on project specifications, timelines, and resource planning.
  • Define priorities and schedules, and prepare both long-term and short-term plans to support engineering and operational objectives.
  • Monitor and manage engineering manpower planning based on project load and business forecasts.
  • Oversee product cost management and support new product costing models during NPI and production ramp-up phases.
  • Drive initiatives to support business growth, including process adaptations for new markets or expanded product lines.
  • Ensure adherence to quality management systems such as ISO 9000 and other customer-specific standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in electronics manufacturing, preferably within the EMS industry.
  • Proven leadership in managing multidisciplinary engineering teams in PCBA and FATP environments.
  • Strong understanding of process development, automation, and test strategy in high-mix, medium-to-high-volume manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC and ISO, and experience supporting customer audits and quality system requirements.
