About the Role:

The Risk and Compliance Executive will play an important role in assisting and enforcing compliance and risk management functions related to our company. The candidate will work alongside the Head of Risk & Compliance to ensure our operations adhere to Malaysian regulations and international standards, while effectively identifying and mitigating potential risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, advising the team on necessary adjustments.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
  • Assist in conducting regular risk assessments and support internal audits to ensure effective risk management.
  • Policy and Procedure Development:
    • Help draft and maintain compliance and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Assist in the preparation of documentation related to compliance and risk management activities.
  • Support the investigation of compliance breaches and risk incidents.
  • Assist in implementing corrective actions and improvements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Law. Completion of chambering (pupillage) is preferred.
  • Exhibits a strong interest towards practice of Capital Market Laws and its application.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to assess and address risk issues.
  • Able to prepare reports and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
