The Senior Manager, Procurement is responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the procurement process aligns with the TNGD's two key divisions. This is a crucial role in optimizing costs, improving efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality of procured goods and services for TNG Digital.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices in procurement processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Manage pricing and purchasing for inventory holding and back-to-back deals with the sales team.
Business Development:
  • Understand sales team channel requirements.
  • Negotiate deals with suppliers.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with TNGD group of companies policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Oversee risk management and develop strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Design and update Procurement standard operating procedures to ensure delivery of Procurement objectives and mitigate risks, complying with all relevant policies and regulations.
Cost Optimization:
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier performance to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality.
Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Implement technology solutions to streamline procurement workflows.
Reporting:
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement performance to the executive team.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improvement.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
Experience:
  • Proven experience in a senior procurement role, at least 10 years in a leadership position.
  • Track record of successful negotiations and cost savings.
  • Working knowledge leveraging technology, Contracting and Procurement systems.
Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong business acumen, detail-oriented.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
  • In-depth knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
Personality:
  • Passionate, agile, flexible, and positive attitude.
  • Assertive, driven individual with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
