This job is as a Tour Coordinator. You might like this job because you'll plan tours, handle inventory control, and maintain customer relationships for a fun and dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate tours with teams to maintain a consistent schedule for festivals, agencies, school holidays, and/or any other public holidays.
- Maintain, distribute, and control inventory of outreach materials including stocks, promotional items, gifts merchandise, and public relation materials.
- Oversee complete routine inventory reports to ensure stock levels are adequate based on projected and historic usage. Track usage to submit timely reorders and ensure restock timeline requirements.
- Report daily event activities via email, website, and blog. Provide reliable activity updates on a daily basis to the superior.
- Train and keep teams informed and up-to-date via periodic briefings and updates on daily activities undertaken during the tour.
- Receive and process incoming orders from customers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Maintain quality and inspect goods received from the warehouse department with proper handling and storage.
- Assist and arrange all goods tidily and creatively in the shop.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the shop at all times.
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and propose solutions.
- Attend to and follow up on local and overseas customers' enquiries.
- Ensure services are provided to customers and handle their complaints promptly.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
- Fresh graduates from diploma/related field or Tourism & Hospitality who are interested in starting their career.
- Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in tour coordination related roles within the retail operations industry.
- Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients is an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle people and situations fairly, using sound judgment and integrity.
- Possess strong administrative abilities with good organization, strong problem-solving skills, communication, and effective interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical skills.
