Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate tours with teams to maintain a consistent schedule for festivals, agencies, school holidays, and/or any other public holidays.
  • Maintain, distribute, and control inventory of outreach materials including stocks, promotional items, gifts merchandise, and public relation materials.
  • Oversee complete routine inventory reports to ensure stock levels are adequate based on projected and historic usage. Track usage to submit timely reorders and ensure restock timeline requirements.
  • Report daily event activities via email, website, and blog. Provide reliable activity updates on a daily basis to the superior.
  • Train and keep teams informed and up-to-date via periodic briefings and updates on daily activities undertaken during the tour.
  • Receive and process incoming orders from customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Maintain quality and inspect goods received from the warehouse department with proper handling and storage.
  • Assist and arrange all goods tidily and creatively in the shop.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the shop at all times.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and propose solutions.
  • Attend to and follow up on local and overseas customers' enquiries.
  • Ensure services are provided to customers and handle their complaints promptly.
  • Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Fresh graduates from diploma/related field or Tourism & Hospitality who are interested in starting their career.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of work experience in tour coordination related roles within the retail operations industry.
  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients is an added advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle people and situations fairly, using sound judgment and integrity.
  • Possess strong administrative abilities with good organization, strong problem-solving skills, communication, and effective interpersonal skills as well as strong analytical skills.
