Job Responsibilities:- Handle and monitor full sets of general accounts of the company including updating and verification ledger, bank reconciliation, account payable, account receivable, month end closing, statutory report, etc. with on-time cut-off date.
- Prepare monthly management reports accurately and timely together with the financial analysis.
- Maintain well-organized and thorough financial reporting records and ensure all accounting is performed within the company policies and procedures.
- Attend to the companies' audits including audit queries and handling of all tax-related queries for timely year-end closing of the companies' accounts.
- Liaison person with auditors, tax agents IRB, and customs and/or relevant authorities as required including new applications (i.e., GTS/SST, etc.) and all related matters.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
- Maintain good documentation and filing system.
- Follow up on any discrepancies or disputes.
- Perform any other duties as required by Management from time to time.
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Finance and Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Committed with a strong sense of responsibility to meet tight deadlines.
- Team player, proactive, positive attitude, able to work independently and efficiently.
- Demonstrate integrity, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Candidates with similar job functions and the potential of taking up such responsibilities are also encouraged to apply.
- Multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize tasks and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with accounting systems will be an added advantage.
- Required Skill(s): Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Accounting Software.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
