Content StrategistWe are seeking a Content Strategist to join 2X, a leading B2B Marketing-as-a-Service (MaaS) company. This role is instrumental in developing and executing content strategies that drive measurable marketing impact for enterprise clients.
As a Content Strategist, you will own the content lifecycle—from auditing existing content and mapping it to buyer journeys to developing high-performing content strategies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, UI/UX, campaign strategists, and data analysts) to deliver content that drives engagement, demand generation, and business growth.
The ideal candidate brings deep B2B marketing expertise, a strong content-performance mindset, and strategic thinking to solve client challenges through compelling, data-driven content solutions.
Position Overview
The Content Strategist plays a pivotal role in shaping content marketing strategy and execution for 2X's enterprise B2B clients. Reporting to the Principal of Content, this role requires a mix of strategic vision, client engagement, and hands-on execution to build and optimize content programs that drive measurable business impact.
You will collaborate closely with clients, marketing teams, and creatives to develop and implement data-driven content solutions, ensuring that content is highly targeted, effective, and aligned with marketing goals. A strong understanding of content marketing frameworks, buyer journeys, demand generation, and marketing automation is key to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic content plans aligned with client business objectives and buyer journeys.
- Perform content audits and gap analyses to optimize existing content and identify new content opportunities.
- Design and oversee content workflows that support efficient, high-quality production and delivery.
- Analyze content performance data to optimize messaging, structure, and distribution strategies.
- Establish and maintain content operations best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and impact.
- Work closely with client teams to define content needs and align strategies with broader marketing goals.
- Partner with UI/UX and design teams to create visually compelling and user-friendly content experiences.
- Collaborate with campaign strategists and data analysts to refine content based on performance insights.
- Serve as a trusted consultant to clients, providing strategic content recommendations and solutions.
- Monitor and report on key content performance indicators (KPIs), including engagement, conversion, and pipeline impact.
- Identify efficiencies and process improvements in content creation, distribution, and measurement.
- Leverage data-driven insights to optimize, refine, and scale content strategies for continuous performance enhancement.
Requirements:
- Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English
- 10+ years of relevant experience (communications, publishing, marketing, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience managing and refining content or creative strategies.
- Some experience with digital marketing, content operations, and marketing automation platforms.
- Technical & Soft Skills
- Expertise in content strategy, demand generation, ABM, and inbound marketing.
- Strong copywriting, editing, and storytelling skills across various B2B content formats (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, landing pages, etc.).
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, content performance tracking, and optimization techniques.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into compelling, audience-focused content.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, client communication, and leadership abilities.
