Job Summary

Use a range of computer BIM software for developing detailed designs (Planbar, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp), to assist the superior as required and to liaise with consultant and stakeholder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use a range of computer software for developing detailed designs (Planbar, 2D - AutoCAD, 3D - Revit, SketchUp).
  • Assist senior manager to develop conceptual design to advanced stage such that the outline design is workable, constructable and cost effective.
  • Report to senior engineer, responsible for the daily tasks and carry out engineering design works to ensure timely delivery of work.
  • Review designs prepared by Consultants to ensure compliance with the design.
  • Assist to undertake structural calculations from time to time.
  • Assist to resolve design and development problems.
  • Ensure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
  • Assess the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
  • Ensure projects run smoothly and structures are completed within timeframe and project requirements.
  • Carry out technical discussions with consultants on technical-related problems.
  • Liaise with other divisions for design verification and compliance of infra works.
  • Comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Management.
Qualifications
  • BEng (Hons.) Civil Engineering & MSc Civil Engineering.
Skills & Abilities
  • Computer Aided Design, Communication, Management, Teamwork, Time Management skills.
  • Determination and Persistence.
  • Willingness to learn.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with BIM software, Planbar, AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.
