Job Responsibilities
  • Responding to any electrical breakdowns related to solar PV system. Initiate fault diagnosis and corrective actions within the period stated in Service Level Agreement.
  • Planning and undertaking preventive maintenance activities to comply with the Scope of Work agreed with the client.
  • Managing and reviewing daily work schedule of technicians.
  • Verifying all the maintenance outcomes performed by technicians and contractors. Ensure that the countermeasures applied are in accordance with the standards, procedures, and specifications allowed.
  • Providing technical reports for any breakdown, corrective maintenance, and periodic maintenance performed, including reports for warranty and insurance claim purposes.
  • Communicating effectively with authorities, engineering consultants, competent persons, contractors, vendors, and clients during project phases and service warranty periods to build positive long-term relationships.
  • Monitoring system performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical performance reports.
  • Creating maintenance procedures related to the specific tasks, according to site conditions.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment legislation.
  • Performing risk assessments according to the specific maintenance process.
  • Managing, maintaining, and sustaining stocks of spares and equipment.
  • Managing ad-hoc projects for performance improvement purposes by conducting project technical studies, site surveys, design, and preparing cost estimation.
  • Determining project schedules by studying project planning and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
  • Liaising with Sales, Design, Licensing, and Procurement departments, providing technical support and resolving technical issues during project execution.
  • Providing project progress and project completion reports.
  • Reviewing project technical information and installation quality prior to the start of the Defect Liability Period and service warranty.
  • Providing technical and non-technical support in the development of in-house platforms for internal process improvements.
  • Gathering information on design failures, installation quality, or materials quality issues, and providing constructive feedback to the Project Management team for future improvements.
  • Preparing goals and objectives, as well as providing necessary training and exposure to new hires.
Requirements
  • Possess 1 year of working experience in electrical installations or maintenance of solar PV projects.
  • Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in Solar PV system design and PV System will be an added advantage.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical theory and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Customer-oriented, independent, and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbally as well as written).
  • Physically and mentally strong and fit, able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable to work on weekends and public holidays if required.
  • Possess a valid driving license D, and able to travel or relocate.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
