We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Supervisor to join our team at LYS MECHANICAL SDN BHD. As a Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and execution of plumbing construction projects in Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of construction crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, main contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Attend meetings and participate in site visits and inspections to ensure works are completed to specification.
  • Oversee the allocation of resources, equipment, and materials to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and address any issues or challenges that arise on site, and implement appropriate solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to project progress, timelines, and costs.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the project manager and senior management.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate construction teams.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with project management software and tools.
