This growth-oriented position will have the primary responsibility of providing the full range of fund administration services to our real estate clients. This individual will be responsible for understanding and applying current accounting principles to the accounting and financial reporting of funds and for reviewing transaction and valuation information. A partial list of responsibilities includes:

  1. Preparation of Net Asset Value calculation and associated reporting.
  2. Preparation of investor capital call and distribution calculations and notices.
  3. Assistance on annual financial audit and other statutory reporting.
  4. Assistance to tax agent on tax reporting.
  5. Assistance on investors' bespoke reporting.
  6. Maintain a working understanding of fund documentation and apply the terms to financial reporting and income and expense allocations for Partner's Capital Statement reporting.
  7. Maintain a working knowledge of current accounting principles and develop solutions for issues.
  8. Ensure smooth service delivery to clients and timely completion of deliverables.
  9. Involvement in new funds onboarding process.
  10. Resolve issues/queries raised by clients in a timely manner and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
  11. Identify and highlight opportunities for internal process improvement and increase operational efficiency.
  12. Participate in company and client initiatives outside of normal deliverables and responsibilities.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned and incidental to the work described above.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Hold a university degree in Finance/ Accounting, qualified accountant, or other relevant qualification preferred.
  2. Minimum of 2-4 years progressive accounting/audit/fund administration experience in real estate fund or industry.
  3. In-depth understanding of fund industry.
  4. Strong computer skills with strength in Microsoft Office products and willingness to embrace new technologies for efficient solutions. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is particularly an asset.
  5. Strong knowledge in IFRS, US GAAP, and Singapore GAAP; knowledge in Luxembourg GAAP would be an advantage.
  6. Knowledge of Yardi accounting software would be an advantage.
