Your key responsibilities:
- Support the commercial manager in performing cost management functions including budget planning, controlling, forecasting, and reporting. Assist in managing major capital and small in-house projects, and oversee department outsourcing and facility maintenance contracts.
- Improve departmental processes and systems to increase work efficiency. Perform data analysis, prepare reports and recommendations, and handle high-level administrative tasks using independent judgment and discretion.
- Coordinate specialized cleaning tasks such as glass and carpet cleaning, sanitary programs, landscaping maintenance, pest control, and laundry functions, ensuring compliance with the Integrated Pest Management program and ISO documentation.
- Attend to and assign work requisitions, coordinate housekeeping tasks, ensure records are updated and properly kept, and manage cleaning schedules and documentation for various areas including cloakrooms, toilets, sewage, and waste disposal.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping Executive to oversee all laundry, general housekeeping, and outdoor cleanliness tasks within the company, supporting the production process and adhering to prescribed procedures.
- For senior positions, supervise and coordinate all cleaning, maintenance, and pest control tasks, manage contract workers, and oversee laundry services. Ensure continuity of domain knowledge through proper training, documentation, and support.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 - 5 years in a similar administrative and commercial support role.
- Strong understanding of cost management principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential. Experience with financial management software is advantageous.
