Let's talk about the team:

This is a pivotal role focused on being a subject matter expert in Workday and driving continuous improvement within our People processes. The primary responsibility includes leading and guiding conversations on Workday functionality, collaborating with the People Experience team and other Centers of Excellence (COEs), and actively participating in projects aimed at automating, improving, and finding efficiencies in People processes. This role is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about leveraging technology and process optimization to enhance the employee experience and drive organizational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

Workday Expertise:

  • Serve as the primary contact for providing expert Workday guidance and support to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on Workday releases, enhancements, and best practices, ensuring the organization maximizes the platform's capabilities.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve Workday system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to People operations.
  • Work with IT Teams to plan, manage, and coordinate activity that impacts the People team in sprint planning, including helping the team prioritize tasks and coordinate with testers in the People Shared Services team to execute testing and changes in Workday.

Project Involvement:

  • Actively participate in cross-functional projects related to Workday enhancements, system integrations, and People process redesign initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful implementation of new functionalities, configurations, and process improvements within agreed timelines.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support change management efforts to drive user adoption and mitigate resistance to change.

People Process & Continuous Improvement:

  • Partner with the People Experience team and COEs to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for process automation, improvement, and optimization.
  • Lead discussions and workshops to gather requirements, analyze existing processes, and design future-state solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize data analytics and benchmarking to identify trends, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and drive data-driven decision-making in People processes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement within the People Experience function, fostering innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to empower People Experience team with the skills and tools needed to drive process excellence and automation.
  • Regularly review feedback, solicit suggestions, and implement improvements to optimize People processes and enhance the employee experience.

Let's talk about you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in People Operations, HRIS administration, or related roles, with a focus on Workday.
  • Strong understanding of Workday modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Absence, Talent, and Advanced Reporting.
  • Proven track record of leading process improvement initiatives, preferably within People functions.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences.
  • Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Workday certification(s) such as Workday HCM, Workday Integrations, or Workday Reporting (preferred).
