Provide Basis knowledge and expertise in a greenfield SAP S/4Hana implementation.

  • Lead, drive and manage the module or business area under your responsibility throughout the project lifecycle encompassing key phases of requirement gathering, detailed design, development, testing, change management, deployment and hypercare support.
  • Work closely with functional teams, developers, and other stakeholders to support business processes and projects.
  • Propose, review and/or constructively challenge design, solution and/or strategy paper to assure quality and in alignment with regional solution standards and directions.
  • Implement and manage security policies, roles, and authorizations within the SAP environment.
  • Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to SAP systems.
  • Conduct capacity planning to ensure the SAP environment can handle future growth and increased workloads.
  • Support the testing phase to ensure quality deliverables and guide/support the users during the UAT.
  • Support and be directly involved in change management activities (e.g. training, briefing, close support) to ensure a smooth transition to a new system and post Live support.
  • Perform deployment and cutover and thereafter provide hypercare support.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on SAP experience as an SAP Basis Administrator.
  • Proficiency in SAP Basis, S/4HANA, HANA database, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Advantageous to have experience in fast moving consumer good (FMCG) industry.
  • Proven extensive experience managing multiple partner vendors located in a geographically diverse location to deliver results.
  • Demonstrate experience being an SAP Basis Administrator to deliver solution in a mid to large project implementation setting.
  • Intermediate to expert fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Basic fluency in spoken Bahasa Melayu.
  • Preferably to have 2 full SAP or equivalent ERP project lifecycle implementation.
  • SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Administration (SAP HANA) with SAP NetWeaver certification is a plus.
