Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Customs Specialist located in Johor, Malaysia. The Customs Specialist will be responsible for managing import and export processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and handling customs brokerage activities. Daily tasks include preparing and processing documentation for customs clearance, communicating with customs officials and clients, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo movement. The specialist will also be required to stay updated on all relevant laws and regulations and provide guidance on customs-related matters.

Qualifications

  1. Experience in Customs Brokerage
  2. Strong Communication skills
  3. Knowledge of Export and Import procedures
  4. Understanding of Import Export regulations
  5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  6. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently
  7. Diploma and above in related field.
  8. Relevant certifications in customs and international trade are a plus
