Assistant Manager - E-Commerce and Online Specialist

Company Description

Asian Beauty Corner Sdn Bhd is an official importer and distributor of TOP Korean brands for cosmetics and skincare in Malaysia. Representing up to 28 brands like CLIO, Peripera, and Dashing Diva, ABC operates its own multi-brand store 'UNDERWATER' and online platform 'WooH.my'. With strong partnerships with retailers and E-Commerce partners, ABC offers a diverse range of beauty products.

Role Description

As an Assistant Manager for E-commerce, you will play a pivotal role in driving our online sales performance, enhancing brand visibility, and optimizing customer experience across various e-commerce platforms. You will collaborate with internal teams and external marketplace partners to execute strategies, streamline operations, and elevate the performance of our online channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Campaign Management: Develop and execute data-driven strategies to meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) for online sales and growth. Plan, design, and manage targeted campaigns to improve brand visibility, drive traffic, and increase conversion rates. Analyze consumer behavior and market trends to optimize marketing efforts and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • E-commerce Operations Management: Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including product listings, visual content uploads, pricing updates, and inventory management. Ensure smooth campaign launches and coordinate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution. Continuously monitor sales performance and customer interactions to identify areas for improvement and quickly address any issues that may arise. Act as the main point of contact for key e-marketplace accounts such as Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, and TikTok, ensuring strong collaboration and optimized product placement. Resolve issues promptly to maintain a seamless shopping experience for customers, ensuring timely response to marketplace challenges. Keep track of platform updates, new features, and best practices to leverage growth opportunities.
  • Team Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, customer service, etc.) to meet e-commerce sales goals and objectives. Collaborate with the E-Commerce Team Lead to escalate and resolve issues, leveraging internal resources to maintain operational efficiency. Ensure alignment between business units on key initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the e-commerce function.
  • Content Management & Website Optimization: Manage and maintain the accuracy and quality of web store content, including product descriptions, images, prices, and stock levels. Implement best practices for product presentation, ensuring alignment with brand standards and customer expectations. Regularly audit and update product content to reflect the latest inventory and promotional offerings.
  • Analytics, Reporting & Performance Evaluation: Analyze sales performance across multiple e-commerce channels and provide actionable insights through comprehensive post-campaign reports. Evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights. Monitor and report on marketplace performance, recommending optimizing product listings, sales strategies, and customer engagement.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in e-commerce, with a proven track record in managing online sales and driving growth.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics tools for tracking performance and analyzing trends.
  • A strong interest or experience in the beauty industry is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work both independently and within a team setting.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest e-commerce trends, platform features, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Experience in E-Commerce and Online Retail is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Familiar with Shopee, Lazada, and other business online platforms.
  • At least 3-4 years experience in a managerial role.
