This position is responsible for material planning and delivery control in accordance with sales forecast and production schedule.

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

Prefer 2 - 5 years of working experience in material planning/supply chain management is required for this position.

Required skills: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, SumIF, etc.).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details, and good follow-up skills.

Effective negotiation and communication abilities.

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with basic leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. To perform material requisition planning to support customer PO and forecast.
  2. Work closely with Order Processing and Purchasing on material replenishment planning to minimize inventory while fulfilling customer orders and ensuring the smooth flow of production.
  3. To manage material JIT delivery and prevent line down.
  4. Ensure the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production. Monitor and follow up closely on production performance and expedite lots to ensure shipments to customers are all met.
  5. Prepare accurate material reports and review loading and reschedule if necessary.
  6. To ensure effective actions taken against sole source and long lead time components.
  7. Provides timely communication to planners, sales, and order processing operations on order status and problem resolution.
  8. Perform data analysis on the actual order vs forecast, highlighting to CS when there is a slow-moving part.
  9. Plan the material purchase to support production accordingly.
  10. Ensure OTD are being met, and ensure projected revenue is being met as well.
  11. Responsible for monitoring additional material requests by Production for rework purposes.
  12. Work on continuous process improvement.
  13. Undertake any other duties or tasks directed by superior or management as and when required.
