We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Consolidated Reporting Executive to join our dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating consolidated financial reporting and analysis activities, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information. This role demands strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
  • Data Consolidation: Collect, consolidate, and review financial data from various business units and subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Bursa Quarterly Announcement: Assist with the preparation of quarterly announcements to Bursa Malaysia.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and elimination of intercompany balances.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Month-End and Year-End Close: Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial reporting processes and implement best practices.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, to provide accurate and timely financial information.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related field, preferably within a Malaysian Public Listed company.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Ethics: High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
