Responsibilities:

Drive automation and test optimizations to reduce test cost, enhance product quality, improve manufacturing efficiency, and accelerate manufacturing stability on 93K SmartScale platforms. Develops and debugs complex test program development efforts to convert input requirements. Tests, validates, modifies, and redesigns automation requirements to guarantee application to specification. Autonomously plans and schedules own daily tasks, develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

Job Description:

Automation of test development for ATE processes below for Advantest Verigy V93000 (V93K) SmartScale platform:

  • Release for failure analysis test program.
  • Test time improvement and yield improvement.
  • Test program update to match test specification modification.
  • Develop ATE test programs - For wafer sort and final test package.
  • Develop and maintain characterization programs.
  • Drive FA and debug activities for digital/analog failures in ATE test program.
  • Custom test method development and data analysis.

Requirement/Qualification:

  • Candidate must possess at least a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with minimum 4-7 years of relevant industry experience in IC Design, IC Test, or equivalent field.
  • Experience with FPGA/CPLD on IPs (ATPG/IO/Serdes).
  • Strong coding and debugging / problem solving skills.
  • Basic understanding of digital and analog circuits, its associated test methods, and fault models.
  • Test content development experience, fundamental knowledge of DFT for test coverage and exposure to multiple ATE tester platforms are preferred.
  • Tester knowledge (ATE), Programming knowledge (C++, C, Python).
  • Experience with Advantest Verigy V93000 (V93K) SmartScale/Exascale platform with Smartest 7.x or 8.x.
  • Experience in automation using Python using standard libraries in Unix/Linux.
  • Experience in test program development and pattern generation in V93K platform.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ATEs, specifically with v93k.
  • Strong understanding on analog / mixed signal test methods.
  • Fundamental knowledge of DFT for test coverage.

Preferred Skills:

  • Python or similar scripting. Knowledge on Quartus tool.
  • Knowledgeable of Quartus tool.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining test programs for V93K platform, for wafer sort, final test and characterization purposes.
  • Experience developing test content for: ATPG, IO, Serdes, SCAN, JTAG, QSPI, Analog blocks (like ACs/ ADC/BGR).
  • Experience in writing Python scripts to interact, validate and analyze test files and data logs.
  • Experience in developing custom test methods and library in Advantest Smartest environment in C++.
  • Experience in verify and analyzing STDFs in industry standard tools and develop custom scripts as required.
  • Familiarity with DIB design, with the tools like Altium, Orcad.
