Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the construction of Data Centers from design, testing, commissioning, installation and delivery.
  • Collaborate with Engineers to test, validate, install, evaluate the performance of electrical systems as per the design specification and to calibrate based on performance models.
  • Conduct inspections to check the functionality, performance, and safety of the data center systems and equipment.
  • Prepare test plans, procedures, and reports to document the testing and commissioning activities.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the project team, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure the timely and quality completion of the testing and commissioning work.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects that arise during the testing and commissioning process.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot equipment faults after project handover.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical engineering or related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in data center testing and commissioning or a similar role.
  • Knowledge and skills in data center systems and equipment, such as server, storage, network, power, cooling, fire protection and security.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of infrastructure systems (power generation for renewable energy or electrical systems for data centers).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and evolving industry.
