Group Reporting Executives/Accountants (MFRS/IFRS/Bursa/MNC/Audit Experience)

Position 2: Senior Accountant (Fintech/Financial Services MNC) - KLCC

Position 3: Assistant Finance Manager (Fintech/Financial Services MNC) - KLCC

Responsibilities:

  1. Preparation of monthly and year-end consolidation, group quarterly results announcement to Bursa Malaysia, group forecasts, budgets and year-end statutory accounts for the Group.
  2. Oversee the accounts of all subsidiary companies within the Group.
  3. Perform analytical review of subsidiary companies' monthly financials.
  4. End-to-end preparation of the annual report.
  5. Liaise with internal and external auditors on all audit matters.
  6. Assist with internal reporting to the Board and external stakeholders such as corporate banks and shareholders.
  7. Part of a team responsible for establishing, reviewing and updating group accounting policies and procedures in line with changes in business requirements and relevant financial reporting standards.
  8. Support and undertake ad-hoc matters as required by Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in Finance/Accounting/Business or a professional accounting qualification such as MICPA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA.
  2. Certified Public Accountant designation preferred.
  3. Must be able to handle group consolidation.
  4. Minimum of 5 years related working experience; with strong expertise on group accounting and consolidation. Prior work experience from Developers Company would be beneficial. Those from audit background are encouraged to apply.
  5. Able to work independently with a positive attitude, resourceful and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Meticulous with good attention to details, efficient, strong analytical skills.
  6. Advanced skill with Excel and good with PowerPoint.
  7. Experience with corporate governance.

Position 2: Senior Account Executive/Accountant (Fintech/Financial Services MNC) - KLCC

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the full set of accounts for Swiss & HK entities, including but not limited to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, and cash management.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing & management reports for all Swiss entities per the closing calendar.
  3. Ensure compliance with Swiss GAAP, IFRS, and Group accounting policies.
  4. Work with external auditors to facilitate financial audits and statutory compliance.
  5. Ensure full compliance including tax and statutory submission.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely forecasting and budgeting for Swiss & HK entities.
  7. Oversee the accounting of the entire Group Distressed Asset Portfolio (DAP).
  8. Ensure accurate monthly reporting, quarterly revaluation, new addition, and internal asset transfers related to DAP.
  9. Work closely with Internal Investment Analysts, MIS teams, and Country Finance Managers to gather relevant financial data.
  10. Functioning as Subject Matter Expert for all DAP-related accounting treatments comply with IFRS 9 Financial Instruments.

Investor Reporting & Compliance:

  1. Key PIC for investor reporting – responsible for ensuring all monthly, quarterly, yearly and ad hoc investor reporting requirements are met on timely basis, including addressing any follow-up questions.
  2. Prepare and consolidate reports required by investors and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Ensure compliance with investor agreements and financial disclosure requirements.

Financial Process Improvement & BAU Support:

  1. Ensure smooth execution of financial processes and internal controls while adhering to Group policies.
  2. Assist in financial analysis, planning, and reporting to support management decision-making.
  3. Identify and implement efficiency improvements in financial processes for Group reporting.
  4. Support any ad hoc request assigned from time to time by finance leaders.

Position 3: Senior Accounts Executive/Assistant Finance Manager (Fintech/Financial Services MNC) - KLCC

Duties:

  1. Lead monthly closing, financial operation, accounting, reporting and compliance related activities as Acting Country Finance Manager ('CFM') on behalf of the Deputy VP of Finance.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate preparation and review of month-end closing & management reports, and key financial deliverables.
  3. Work closely with Country Finance Teams to ensure compliance with Group reporting standards and internal controls.

Group Intercompany (Interco) Balance Checking:

  1. Perform monthly intercompany (Interco) balance reconciliations to ensure accurate elimination in Group Consolidation.
  2. Identify and resolve discrepancies in intercompany transactions and balances across entities.
  3. Work with CFMs to ensure alignment of financial records between subsidiaries.

Investor Reporting & Compliance:

  1. Key PIC for investor reporting – responsible for ensuring all monthly, quarterly, and yearly investor reporting requirements are met.
  2. Prepare and consolidate reports required by investors and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Ensure compliance with investor agreements and financial disclosure requirements.

Financial Process Improvement & BAU Support:

  1. Support standardization and efficiency improvements in financial processes across entities.
  2. Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis at the Group level.
  3. Support internal control compliance requirements, working closely with internal auditors.
  4. Act as a liaison between Group Finance and CFMs, ensuring seamless execution of finance tasks.
  5. Support any ad hoc request assigned from time to time by finance leaders.
