Role Overview:

My client is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous AP & AR Manager to join their Commercial Finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Accounts Payable (AP):

  1. Lead and manage the AP team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments.
  2. Oversee employee expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  3. Monitor AP ageing, ensuring timely payments and proper reconciliation.
  4. Support month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities.
  5. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including indirect taxes.
  6. Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.

2) Accounts Receivable (AR):

  1. Lead and manage the AR team, overseeing billing, collections, and credit control.
  2. Monitor AR ageing, implementing collection strategies to minimize outstanding receivables.
  3. Manage customer credit risk, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  4. Support month-end closing, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting.
  5. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and support audit processes.
  6. Implement process enhancements for improved receivables management.
Requirements:
  1. Degree in Accountancy. Professional membership (ACCA, MIA, CPA, etc) would be highly advantageous.
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience within Accountancy and Finance, with a focus in AP and AR.
  3. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  4. Effective leadership and communication skills with a proactive mindset.
