After-Sales Service Manager – Commercial Vehicles (Penang)

We are looking for an experienced After-Sales Service Manager to lead our Isuzu commercial vehicle service and workshop operations in Penang, with a strong focus on commercial trucks, Isuzu vehicles, D-Max, fleet management and workshop operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overall workshop operations, team leadership, service performance, customer satisfaction, warranty management and after-sales business performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Manage the daily operations of the Isuzu service and workshop department.
  • *Lead and supervise Service Advisors, Foremen and Technicians.
  • *Monitor workshop productivity, efficiency, repair quality and customer satisfaction.
  • *Ensure proper vehicle diagnosis, repair and timely delivery of vehicles.
  • *Monitor service revenue, labour sales, parts sales and departmental KPIs.
  • *Ensure compliance with company SOPs and Isuzu service standards.
  • *Handle customer complaints and resolve service-related issues professionally.
  • *Monitor warranty claims, technical cases and supporting documentation.
  • *Manage staff performance, manpower planning, training and development.
  • *Coordinate closely with Parts, Sales and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • *Ensure workshop safety, housekeeping and proper use and maintenance of equipment.
  • *Prepare regular performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • *Minimum 3–5 years of relevant after-sales/service management experience.
  • *Commercial vehicle or truck after-sales/service experience is required.
  • *Experience with Isuzu vehicles is highly preferred.
  • *Candidates with experience as Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager, Workshop Manager or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
  • *Strong technical knowledge of commercial vehicle/truck servicing, repair and diagnostics.
  • *Experience managing Service Advisors, Foremen and Technicians.
  • *Experience managing workshop productivity, manpower and operational KPIs.
  • *Strong leadership, communication, customer-handling and problem-solving skills.
  • *Automotive-related qualification or technical certification is an advantage.
  • *Must be willing to work in Penang.

  • *Candidates with experience in the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:

  • *Diesel engine servicing, diagnostics and repair

  • *Commercial vehicle warranty and technical claims
  • *Workshop operations and after-sales management
  • *Service and parts operations

Note: Candidates with experience primarily in passenger cars, buses or general automotive workshops without commercial vehicle/truck experience may not be suitable for this position.
