Roles and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work in a team providing tax compliance services to a diverse portfolio of corporate and individual clients.

Corporate Tax Services

  • Prepare income tax provisions, tax computations, and income tax returns for corporate clients.
  • Prepare Estimated Chargeable Income (ECI) and file it with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
  • Prepare withholding tax computations and file them online with IRAS.
  • Verify tax assessments and lodge objections when necessary.
  • Prepare applications for Certificates of Residence (COR) for Double Tax Agreements (DTAs).
  • Handle queries from IRAS and clients.
  • Assist with research and updates on tax issues.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties or assignments.

GST Services

  • Apply for Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration or de-registration.
  • Prepare, review, and file GST tax returns.
  • Handle queries from IRAS and clients.
  • Assist with research and updates on tax issues.

Individual Tax Services

  • Prepare tax computations for individual clients, prepare Form IR8A, and file individual tax returns online with IRAS.
  • Handle tax clearance for individual clients.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2 years of tax experience in handling corporate tax.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Able to manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
  • Service-oriented and detail-oriented with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to analyze data.
  • Good command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and good interpersonal skills.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Knowledge of Singapore tax regulations would be an added advantage.
  • Ability to communicate with Chinese clients and read Chinese would be an added advantage.
