Purchasing Specialist (personal care and Beauty)

Your Role:
As a Purchasing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our lifestyle products are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and at the highest quality. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate competitive deals, and oversee the procurement process to support the dynamic needs of our fast-paced retail environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and issue procurement plans to suppliers, ensuring timely and stable supply of products to meet business demands.
  • Monitor product arrivals, warehouse receipts, and address issues such as returns or exchanges for substandard items.
  • Negotiate procurement costs with suppliers to ensure product quality and pricing are competitive and aligned with company goals.
  • Manage and maintain supplier relationships in assigned categories, fostering strong partnerships to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Handle account reconciliation, invoicing, and payment processes efficiently and accurately.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of procurement or purchasing experience, ideally within the retail, FMCG, or consumer goods industries.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a knack for resolving conflicts effectively.
    • Strong analytical skills to manage supply chains and forecast demand accurately.
    • Exceptional organizational and execution skills, with a proactive and positive approach to challenges.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Personality: Resilient under pressure, adaptable in a fast-moving environment, and highly motivated to deliver results.
