We invite a Senior BackEnd Engineer to join the VeliEDGE product team.

Edge is a dynamic, revolutionary client engagement and marketing automation tool to boost customer retention. It is based on the Cloud Native SaaS B2B Approach and enables businesses to automate emails, web push notifications, and SMS messages to retain customers and drive lifetime value.

Tech stack:

PHP 8, Laravel, Node.JS, React.JS, MySQL, MongoDB, AWS, Grafana, Docker, k8s, Kafka, and Redis.

In this role, you will:

  • Implement new features for the product.
  • Participate in building and maintaining company products.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle including design, development, documentation, testing, and deployment.
  • Conduct periodic code reviews and optimization.
  • Explore new ideas and best solutions.
  • Meet high standards and deliver constant improvement in everything you do.

Skills and experience you will need:

  • Strong proficiency in PHP 7+, Laravel.
  • Strong proficiency in NodeJs.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database design and scalability (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse).
  • Experience with k8s, Kafka.
  • Knowledge of architectural patterns and design patterns.
  • Experience with high-load systems.
  • Linux/Unix-based operating systems and command-line interface experience.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with unit tests.
  • Knowledge of OOP and design patterns.
  • Product-oriented mindset.

Will be a plus:

  • Understanding of system design approaches such as DDD, CQRS, MA, and other architectural patterns.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
