KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business as Usual (BAU) Operations (40%):
  • Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure in accordance with established standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance tasks.
  • Project/ Process Enhancement Leading and Implementation (40%):
  • Lead discussions and collaborate with stakeholders to identify infrastructure enhancement opportunities.
  • Develop project/process plans, documentation, and timelines for infrastructure project/process.
  • Execute infrastructure change efficiently, ensuring accountability and adherence to the change objectives.
  • Personal Development (20%):
  • Continuously improve technical skills and stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
  • Pursue relevant certifications, with a focus on Azure and Infrastructure.
  • Experiment with new technologies and tools to enhance personal and team productivity.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 8+ years in infrastructure management
  • 3-5 years of consulting or enterprise experience as a Support Engineer / Architect is mandatory

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer or similar role before.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting, with the ability to merge, dissect, and create scripts from scratch.
  • Expertise in Power Automate and demonstrated experience as an SME.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft365 and CloudFlare.
  • Experience leading infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Azure and/or Infrastructure certifications preferred.
  • Must possess at least 4-5 relevant mixed certifications of Microsoft certificate, or Cisco or Fortinet or ITIL.
