Job Description:

Paralegal
  1. To assist in handling legal documents in matters of Project, sub-sales, loan, discharge, perfection of charge, perfection of transfer, and other conveyancing matters;
  2. To assist in preparing and attending to legal documents relating to conveyancing from the initial stage until the completion stage;
  3. To assist in liaising with our client, bankers, agents, developers, and various government bodies if necessary;
  4. To assist in attending to clients, signing, correspondence, inquiries etc.
Chambering Student
  1. To assist lawyers in handling conveyancing-related matters.
  2. Corresponding, attending and communicating with clients, bankers and agents.
  3. Maintain and update file status in the system.
  4. Willing to communicate and work as a team and pro-active with good attitude.
  5. Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior.
Project Lawyer
  1. Providing comprehensive legal advice, services, legal documents in matters related to the project i.e. Sale and Purchase Agreement, Deed of Mutual Covenant, Loan's documents;
  2. Conducting legal research, analysis, and preparing legal documents;
  3. Collaborating with senior lawyers, partner, and agents to deliver high-quality legal services;
  4. Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices;
  5. Contributing to the overall growth and development of the legal team and the firm;
  6. To assist on any other ad-hoc duties assigned as and when required to do so;
  7. Reviewing performance data from a legal perspective to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Paralegal
  1. A minimum experience of 1 year;
  2. Possesses a Bachelor of Law Degree;
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is preferred;
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  5. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Chambering Student
  1. Candidates must possess at least a bachelor's degree in law.
  2. Qualified under Legal Profession Act to commence their pupillage.
  3. Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin is preferred.
Project Lawyer
  1. Qualified lawyer with a degree in law and a valid practicing certificate.
  2. Minimum 1 year of experience.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and innovative legal solutions.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  5. Proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin (Mandarin speaker would be an added advantage).
  6. Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  7. A commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for the legal profession.
