Position Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, execution, and completion, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Execution:
    Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
    Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with goals and requirements.
    Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
  2. Licensing and Permits:
    Identify and obtain all necessary licenses and permits for projects.
    Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and building codes.
    Liaise with government agencies, inspectors, and other regulatory bodies.
  3. Budget and Cost Management:
    Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
    Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to stay within budget.
    Approve expenditures and manage project financials.
  4. Stakeholder Communication:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, team members, and senior management.
    Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
    Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
    Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle and implement contingency plans as needed.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and expectations.
    Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain project quality.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager and strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Candidate must possess own transport and willing to travel.
